We are happy to tell you that our Xmas decorations are now up in the Pub and the Bistro and we hope you noticed the extra effort we have made this year as a nod to last year’s ‘lost’ Xmas.
We will be opening the Bistro from Monday the 12th December from 12 midday till lat booking at 8pm Monday to Saturday until Xmas Eve and then Monday to Saturday from 6pm up until New Years Eve.
As with all tables we do urge you to book online where you can book up to tables of 6 -in the garden also. Please call if you would like to book for bigger tables. On Sundays at present we only book tables up to 8 people.
This December we have some entertainment in the Bistro on Thursdays. Next Thursday we have Tallulah and Sam singing but we are full. The following Thursday we have the brilliant Graham Clack back doing his Christmas show and the following Thursday Susie Gee is back singing and playing her sax. The following week is Jack Valentines Festive Rat pack show and on the 30th we have Rob Simpson who is part of a Beatles Tribute group who is coming down to sing all the favourites from the 50s to 80s. There will be a ticket cost of £5 for Susie, Jack, Graham and Rob as their fee doubles in December.
Recently we successfully varied our pub’s licence at Bromley Council. Happily we can now have drinkers and diners outside until 10pm. An increase of an hour from 9 till 10pm.
Our Xmas 3 course meal will be available from 1st to 23rd December. We will however need to have a preorder and further deposit for this. Normal menu will also be available. We also have a Christmas Buffet which is £15 per head if you want a more informal get together and this is available in the Pub and the Bistro.
Xmas Eve there will be personal buffets to your table in the Bistro of £20 per head and will include champagne on arrival. From 7 till 12.30am
In the Pub it is ticket only and its £15 per ticket and will include a buffet and festive/party music from 7 till 12.30am
On New Years Eve in the Bistro it will be £25 per head with Champagne on arrival and a personal buffet to your table. In the Pub it will be £20 per ticket and there will be a DJ and a buffet from 7 till 1am
We were honoured to have been voted No 2 in the UK for our Sunday Roasts in the Sunday Express recently. We are fully booked for this week and almost full for the following. Our telephone lines have been down and playing up since last Friday so apologies if you have been trying to get through to us.
We are fully booked for our quiz next week on the 1st December but have added another date of 15th December which will be our Xmas themed quiz.
